Rang booking line -4 night break + pet + early checkin + linen. On arrival at 15:15 expected early checkin (from 2pm)- break booked but nothing else. Told would have to pay extra £15 and cleaners "would go and clean caravan" I said I would wait for normal checkin at 16:00! 1st caravan disgusting - wallpaper hanging off in lounge, skirtings and worktop trim missing and trim round sink hanging off. Complained and moved. Booked 2 days half board. As a chef the 1st night meal was quite clearly a supermarket frozen ready meal of spaghetti bolognaise. 2nd night was frozen omelette (supermaket 2 pack). Paid £15 per day for food but if you order from menu the spag bol would have cost £8.50!! Go yourself to a supermarket, spend £1.50 - £2 and cook yourself so much cheaper. Its appalling kitchen staff cant cook an omelette (£6.50 on menu). Breakfast came out cold,, others complained as well. Staff quite abrupt especially bar "manager" who was very rude when I spoke to him about breakfast and resulting in me deciding to leave. Park is stuck in 1970s, if you are looking for lovely holiday dont go here as there are many friendlier and nicer parks in Essex. NEVER AGAIN - SHAME ON YOU PARK HOLIDAYS. | ||
