Ground Floor
Enter this charming cottage via a covered exterior walk-way and porch into a hallway. This leads to a lovely, large kitchen, which is very well equipped, and has a table and chairs to sit and relax over meals whilst keeping cook company! There is also a sofa and TV to sit and relax. The kitchen has French doors leading to a wonderful, large terrace - which is a sun trap! - with views across the harbour and over to the old town, with the iconic Whitby Abbey on the clifftop. It's a perfect spot to enjoy meals or drinks together in the lovely sea air or just sit back and sunbathe.
First Floor
On the first floor is a beautiful sitting room with quality, comfortable sofas, flat screen TV, again with spectacular sea, harbour and Abbey Views.
There is a pretty twin bedroom in sea-inspired shades of blue with single beds, bedside table and hanging space. Again, you can look out over the harbour and across to the old town.
This floor also has a luxury house bathroom, fully tiled in Travertine marble, with a bath, shower over, WC and hand wash basin.
Second Floor
On the second floor are two more lovely bedrooms - both with amazing views.
There is a superb master bedroom with a king size bed with bedside tables and lamps if you like to read before lights out. A dressing table and mirror and built-in wardrobes.
There is an elegant, small double bedroom, with bedside table, dressing table and wardrobe.
A stylish luxury shower room, fully tiled in Travertine marble, comprises shower, WC and hand wash basin completes this floor.
Outside
As mentioned, this lovely cottage boasts a wonderful large terrace with a table and chairs, with stunning views over the to the Abbey and harbour - an idyllic spot to just to sit, relax and enjoy the view, winding down to the sound of seagulls and the eternal view across to Whitby's quaint old town maybe planning a day on the beach, sightseeing or visiting one of Whitby's many restaurants, either for our renowned fish and chips or trying one of the award-winning restaurants. That's what holidays are all about.
There is wifi or internet access available at Pecks Cottage in Whitby. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Pecks Cottage's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
There is one or more televisions at Pecks Cottage. Ideal if you want to catch up with the latest on your favourite programmes or just fancy a quiet night in relaxing in front of the box.

Often cottage owners have some restrictions on where your dog can roam in the property and there may be a small extra charge. However, there is no reason why your pet needs to miss out on the family holiday.

One well-behaved dog welcome at a cost of £30 per stay will be introduced from September 2019.
Parking scratch cards provided for 24/7 on-street parking in the locality; also, there is a Pay and Display car park nearby if guests prefer that option. Large paved terrace garden with furniture.
Notes: Lovely welcome pack on arrival. There are seven steps down to the paved patio area that has a table and seating. There are around fifty steps down from the patio area and this provides access to the harbour area.
