GROUND FLOOR
Enter into this beautiful period cottage into a small hallway with a black and white tiled floor; turn right into the good size sitting room which has comfortable sofas and armchairs, book shelves, a wonderful brick fireplace housing a wood burning stove - it's so lovely to cosy up in front of! - plus a TV/DVD.
Double glass doors take you into the superb, stylish kitchen which is very well-equipped and has an electric oven, an electric induction hob, dishwasher and tall fridge-freezer. Very spacious, there's a lovely armoire and table and chairs to comfortably seat six people - it's a lovely room and provides a great spot to sit and have a glass of wine whilst preparing supper.
The kitchen leads to a useful rear hallway with storage for shoes and beach equipment and doubles as a utility room with a further sink, washing machine/dryer.
There is also a convenient wet room on the ground floor near the rear entrance - perfectly located for a nice long hot shower when the family comes in after a sandy day on the beach! - plus a WC and hand wash basin.
FIRST FLOOR
This floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The double bedroom has a white metal bed with a comfortable mattress, a chest of drawers, wardrobe and a TV with integral DVD player. There is a further bedroom that will be featuring full size bunk beds (currently showing as a single bed) which has good storage with a closet and a dressing table.
The immaculate house bathroom is a good size and comprises a bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and hand wash basin.
SECOND FLOOR
The landing has a table, lamps and a mirror.
The master bedroom is large with a deep, comfortable double bed, bedside tables with good lighting if you like to read before lights out, dressing table with stool and an easy chair; the original beams give the room great character.
A very charming single bedroom is adorned with bunting and has the original wood panelling, a sweet full size 3' single bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and a walk-in closet.
OUTSIDE
To the front is a pretty, flagged, enclosed courtyard garden with table and chairs, providing a lovely spot to sit and take a moment over coffee when you rise or for enjoying pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap.
To the rear is space that can park a small car or otherwise provides a useful courtyard that can be enclosed.
There is wifi or internet access available at Farndale Cottage in Whitby. Perfect for searching for things to do whilst on holiday, catching up on emails or even work if you have to.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Farndale Cottage's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.

However, there is no reason why your pet needs to miss out on the family holiday.

Harbour and beach 5 mins’ walk. Shops and restaurants few minutes’ walk.
