Downstairs the sitting room features a huge inglenook fireplace with wood-burner stone floors and exposed beams The large dining room is a great family room which also provides the the perfect spot to relax with a book while enjoying the views across the bay The kitchen adjoins the dining room and features many modern appliances for your convenience

There is also a downstairs toilet off the dining room

On the first floor the master bedroom enjoys a King-sized bed with en-suite shower room comprised of shower and hand basin only no toilet in the en-suite

Bedrooms two and three have twin beds and there is a family bathroom with a bath with shower attachment bidet toilet and hand basin Outside is a small private garden area with wonderful views across the bay plus private parking for two cars

There is an upstairs flat which is owned by the couple that own The Crows Nest they only use the flat a few times a year Feel free to say hi if you see them as they are lovely hosts

Dogs Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement strictly a maximum of 2

A supplementary fee of

15 will be added to your invoice per dog Please do not allow you dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time

Local amenities The harbour is the centre of Porlock Weir which is approximately 100 metres from The Crows Nest There are two restaurants The Cafe and Miller s at the Anchor

a pub all three are dog-friendly and a range of individual shops such as tea rooms Exmoor Glass etc

The village of Porlock is approximately 1 5 miles from The Crows Nest and boasts three pubs two grocery shops a traditional local butcher chemist cash machine hardware shop visitor centre and a range of independent restaurants shops and tea rooms

Many of the shops in Porlock Weir and Porlock are open during traditional hours of 9 am to 5 pm although hours are often extended during the summer season Conversely some shops also reduce their opening hours out of season

Minehead is the nearest town approximately 7 miles from The Crows Nest Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations Tesco and Morrison s are both situated on the outskirts of the town and have longer opening hours

most major high street banks with cash machines plus a range of other shops throughout the town

Arrival and departure The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests

Changeover days The Crows Nest is available for week-long bookings Friday to Friday and short breaks
