Beautifully presented, Oakwood Lodge provides three bedrooms, one bathroom and accommodates six people. The open-plan living room boasts a wood burner for extra cosiness and big picture doors to the decked balcony (supervision of younger children required) with views to the glorious woodland beyond - the perfect spot for kicking back with a book or enjoying breakfast, lunch or a bedtime nightcap. The kitchen is bright and the dining area makes a social spot for nibbles. For those seeking tranquility within easy reach of the glorious Cornish Riviera coastline attractions, a stay in Oakwood Lodge includes access to 30 acres of beautiful, deciduous woodland with miles of meandering paths and trails, perfect for a peaceful walk or mountain bike ride. The beaches and fishing villages in St Austell Bay are a short drive away. Polkerris Beach is an attractive arced sandy haven reached within a 10 minute drive, in the shelter of the harbour wall and makes for safe bathing. The quaint coastal village of Charlestown has a dinky quay and is known for the historic Tall Ships. There are spectacular ocean views from the 18 hole golf course over Carlyon Bay and walkers will enjoy exploring the coastal footpath that hugs the cliff tops, with panoramic seascape.
