One of four cottages in a row in the heart of Bantham village, 3 Bantham Holiday Cottages offers comfortable, modern, accommodation with a high standard of furnishings and views looking over Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. Situated adjacent to The Sloop Inn and just a 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches in the region, this cottage offers a superb base for a beach side holiday whether you want to enjoy the watersports the beach has to offer, sample the stunning clifftop coastal walks along the South West Coastal Path, or simply to take in the sea air and watch the every changing scenery and tides. Close to the market town of Kingsbridge and the yachting haven of Salcombe in the South Hams, the most southerly peninsula in Devon. The region is renowned for its temperate climate and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A short walk away there is an excellent village store as well as a the pub serving great food adjacent. Bantham Surf School offers lessons and equipment from the beach, where there is also the Gastrobus, serving food and drinks ( most of the year ) and Pizza (Main season only). This really is a superb destination, offering flexible and comfortable accommodation all year round. This property can be booked together with Cottage Number 4 to sleep up to 10 guests; an interconnecting door joins the properties to provide flexible accommodation for larger family groups. Until the end of September 2020, due to Coronavirus, a paddock which lies in front of the cottages will be used as ancillary seating area for The Sloop Inn, and in use until 9pm daily. All windows are double glazed.
