Rockwood is a detached, stone-built cottage near the village of Ballintogher and ten miles from Sligo. The cottage sleeps two people in one double bedroom. There is also a shower room and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off road parking and to the front of the cottage is a lawned garden, which is sheltered by the surrounding forest so you can sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the peace and quiet of the nature surroundings. Rockwood is a lovely place to spend your Irish holiday.
On nice days, when you want to relax you can sit out in Rockwood's garden and enjoy the sun shine. Children also love the outdoors so it can be a great place for them. Although, with young children you should always check any garden is safe for them.
Planning a winter break in Sligo? A lovely way to enjoy a cold winter's evening is to spend it in front of the open fire or log burning stove. So if you are looking for that authentic country cottage feel on a winters evening then Rockwood could be your perfect choice.
